A Grammar of Signals in Multilingual Systems

چکیده

Multilingual systems coordinate many forms of evidence: lexical choices, script, context, user history, confidence estimates, and task constraints. We describe these sources as a grammar of signals and show how their interaction helps explain both robust transfer and surprising failures across related languages.
